This five-day course is aimed at experienced SAR managers who may have to direct SAR activities beyond the third operational period. (The first two days of this course are based upon the Initial Response Incident Commander course, and the following days leverage mathematically driven tools sets and thought processes.) The class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and table-top. To get the most out of this course one should have been a search manager or part of the SAR search management team and have at least 15 missions logged. This course can be offered in five consecutive days to two weekends.Topics covered include, but aren’t limited to:
